/etc/fonts/conf.avail/30-urw-aliases.conf should have entry for "ZapfDingbats" as well as "Zapf Dingbats" patch attached (sources of fix: http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=18002 http://freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/poppler) Additional info: * package version(s) fontconfig-2.6.0-2, x86_64 Steps to reproduce: 1. create a .pdf including circles (e.g., in R: "pdf(<filename>); plot(rnorm(100),rnorm(109)); dev.off()" ) [I've attached a sample] 2. view in viewer using poppler (e.g., okular); points are plotted with "q" instead of circles 3. patch file 4. view file again to see circles! :) |
