Description:
I use an encrypted home partition and a dvorak keyboard. The rc.sysinit script asks for my encryption key before setting the dvorak keymap, so I can't enter the password. I currently work around it with a hack in rc.sysinit, but I imagine the 'right way' to do it would eb to include the keymap in the initramfs, which would cater for situations like encrypted root.

What is the content of the HOOKS array in your /etc/mkinitcpio.conf?

Ah... I should have keymap in there I assume. Sorry for the trouble, just me being stupid.
Thanks
