When updated to version 185.18.31-1 of the nvidia driver X will consistantly lock up. The screen goes black and the keyboard and mouse are unresponsive. Additional info: ==> List all installed packages extra/xorg-server 1.6.3-2 extra/nvidia 185.18.31-1 extra/nvidia-utils 185.18.31-1 core/kernel26 2.6.30.4-1 Steps to reproduce: 1. Have a Dell D630 2. Upgrade to the above versions of nvidia and nvidia-utils 3. Reboot 4. No X :-( |

solves the problem.
We cannot help here. Please report all such bugs to Nvidia.
BTW, there is 190.xx series already, you may want to try them.
