Details

Description:

/etc/securettys in the filesystem package contain entries like
tty1
tty2
tty3
...
but these are not recognized as console terminals I have. So I can not login root on them.
For this works I put
vc/1
vc/2
vc/3
to this file

The Summary is not correct - vc/* are old (devfs), not tty*.

EDIT: I've realised that you probably have old udev installed.
Did you read http://www.archlinux.org/news/454/ ?

Ok. I see. But in this case there is a problem in repository, I don't see any update to udev.

udev-141-5 was released at the same time as filesystem-2009.07-1
Probably your mirror updated in a short period between updates :-/
