After booting with the latest (downloaded today Oct 4th) version of 0.7 iso (beta1) I try to install the driver from my card which is the tulip driver. modprobe tulip fails, automatic scanning using the installer fails.

However when I do modprove /lib/modules/kernel/drivers/net/tulip/tulip.ko
it works

So the path is messed up I would say but I don't know how to check that.

This appears to be a busybox problem. Their modprobe isn't doing anything more than insmod.

I'll try to build a newer version of busybox.

Try 0.7-beta2. I've built a slightly-newer version of busybox into it, and modprobe seems to be working fine now.

Works correctly using 0.7-beta2

modprobe tulip brings up my ethernet card.

Also I made sure the Internet works (using DHCP).
