Details

After selecting grub as bootloader a somewhat error dialog occurs:

But the installation of grub and the boot went all fine.
I saw this dialog also on a software raid setup..

This was a normal install (sda1=swap, sda2=/), no special things.

I attach aif log and /tmp/aif files from this run.

Dieter, FYI: I also saw this dialog after using autoprepare HD...

Heh, I just didn't check some cases. I check them now (but nothing must be done to handle them). The error was actually bogus :)

So now it should work. we can test this with autoprepare and we should also check manual install on lvm on raw.

I have tested it with autoprepare and software RAID, not with lvm. Works fine now, no seen this dialog again.

I assume you fixed it now, so we could IMHO close this report (also without checking on lvm).

i'm pretty sure it will also work with lvm, it's only one line of code :) I'll close
