Description:
geeqie not save the settings, as well as configuration files are created in the home directory as root

Additional info:
* package version(s) Geeqie 1.0beta2
* config and/or log files etc.
Geeqie 1.0beta2, This is an alpha release.

Sorry, I don't understand the point here. You say as root, but you are save settings in the home of the user "pavel". Please can you traslate the messages to english?

Execution of geeqie as user can save the preferences. How you start the geeqie? you login as root? or you start geeqie with sudo?

FYI starting GTK apps as root is a bad idea: http://www.gtk.org/setuid.html
