Archlinux installer ask to edit /etc/modprobe.conf, where correct file must be /etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.conf

Well, not much we can do about this now.
If this really bothers you a lot, you could install aif-experimental-git from AUR, it has the fixed path. (or try the 2009.08 alpha2 iso)
Or use the current installer and just edit /mnt/etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.conf from a console. (ctrl-alt-F2 or so, ctrl-alt-F1 to go back)
