DetailsDescription:
when I plug in via usb my kodak C613, i got this error "unable to mount Kodak Co. Digital Camera". whereas both the sd card and the internal memory appears on the desktop (both named Kodak Co. Digital Camera). (minor issue or another bug ?) THEN f-spot is run twice ! is it bug #13138 or because of the 2 new devices mounted. (internal ram and sd card) each instance of f-spot shows an error "error when connecting to digital camera. Unable to lock device when connecting to it". it seems this has nothing to do with the 2 instances of f-spot fighting to get exclusive locking of the device because: when i click on one of the icon on the desktop, and launch nautilus, then click on "open in f-spot" i got the same error. (this time with only one running instance of f-spot) so i am unable to import the photos off the camera. (i have a card reader so i am not totally screw here) i am able to browse them with nautilus. i am member of camera group i got exactly the same problem when i plug in a nikon coolpix S210 (which use PTP) in f-spot. i see nothing special in the log except: Jul 23 13:29:53 soho load-modules.sh: 'usb:v040Ap05B7d0100dc00dsc00dp00ic06isc01ip01' is not a valid module or alias name f-spot 0.5.0.3-3 dbus 1.2.14-1 hal 0.5.12git20090421.4fc367-2 libgphoto2 2.4.6-2 |
