DetailsDescription:
My computer is not running 24/7 and so every morning updatedb has to run and reindex the filesystem. As this causes quite high IO other processes (which are more important to me) start up very slow. Therefore I suggest to add ionice to the cronjob to reduce the IO load due to updatedb. A small patch is attached. |
