Description:
I posted the issue at the frostwire bugtracker, all details are given there:

Steps to reproduce:
export _JAVA_OPTIONS, eg export _JAVA_OPTIONS="-Dswing.defaultlaf=com.sun.java.swing.plaf.gtk.GTKLookAndFeel", and start frostwire, frostwire will complain about java not being found.

Resolution:
See my patch attached.

PS: I have reported this before for another version and the patch was applied back then, I can't find that bug report to request re-opening any more though.. Sorry if this is due to me being too stupid to find it.
