Description:
Wicd is able to use pynotify to display notifications to the user on connect/disconnect/...
So, python-pynotify should be added to the list of optionnal dependancy of the wicd package.

Can't find the package python-pynotify. So I will not add it as opt-depend.

My mistake, the package is called python-notify from community.

Wicd also needs an optional dependency on a graphical su client eg. gksu etc.
Otherwise you can't access the preferences dialog via the gtk+2 interface.
