"Usually freezes"?
Were there any freezes not related to starting wlan0?
Seems like ndiswrapper-related issue.

I do not use ndiswrapper. It even blacklisted in /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf

more of that, i do not have any windows drivers installed in ndiswrapper.

Weird, it's present in the crashlog, don't know why.
Anyway, are these freezes happening when not using wlan?
Comment by Lex Rivera (x-demon) - Friday, 10 July 2009, 17:01 GMT
nope, with wlan switched off it not happened. Maybe.

so what kernel module are you using for your wireless hardware?

shitty broadcom STA and rt73usb (from rt2x00). Removed ndiswrapper and got freeze again. Same log, except ndis error
