, I suggest just left message to notice there are optional package for install.
And remove runtime dependency of perl/lua/ruby/python...

To correct the PKGBUILD's dependency, I think it just require little fix.

I have re-opened because if perl, lua, ruby and python can all be optional, this is exactly what optdepends are for. Especially given weechat is supposed to be "light" from the pkgdesc...
