I unistalled all mozilla based apps I had installed (songbird-nightly(aur), miro(aur), firefox(arch),firefox(aur)) and then installed miro again and it now works. I don't know which one was the mishaving package but it was obviously one of these. I suspect it most have been one of the aur ones.

P.S. Now I only have install firefox(arch) and miro (arch)
