DetailsDescription: I installed Firefox 3.5, but had to sync against ftp.archlinux.org to get it, as it wasn't on any of the mirrors yet. When I tried a system upgrade, it was going to be like 350 MB of stuff only on the 60 KB/s throttled mirror ... eff that.
So I went about installing some other stuff, which required readline 6. So I upgraded *JUST* readline 6. All fine and dandy. And then bash, which I did not upgrade, threw a libreadline.so.5 error on everything. Can't su. Can't open any new app. Bricked system. Readline 6 needs to absolutely require bash 4. |
