Just compiled exiv 0.18.2 (64bit) now digikam stopped crashing.

Can confirm that updating exiv2 to version 0.18.2 works, with exiv2 0.18 digikam won't start at all. Using digikam 0.10.0-4 on x86_64.

This package should really be updated. Arch is a rolling release distro and it's impressive that such an annoying bug can live for 4 month after being fixed upstream.

I will do that, I will sync it up with libpano and hugin rebuilds, so that's quite a bit of work.

I confirmed that this is now fixed.
