Hi. Is it correct that when you boot from installation disk, that media shoud mount on /bootmnt ?

In the script in initrd "boot/archiso_pata.img/hooks/archiso" there's a line:
_mnt_bind /bootmnt bootmnt

It causes the media to be mounted on /real_rootbootmnt instead of /real_root/bootmnt

The latest image I could download is pretty old (archlinux-2009.02-2-ftp-i686.img), so may be it's fixed already. If so, sorry.
This task depends upon

P.S. these 2 lines are mutually exclusive:
[ ! -f "/bootmnt/${img}" ] && continue

if [ "${type}" = "bind" ]; then
_mnt_bind "/bootmnt/${img}" ${mountpoint}
If I want to bind a directory , test -f fails. Why not 'test -r' ?

it seems like this is still the case in the latest archiso from git
