I can't reproduce it here. Are you using testing or extra? What's your version of gnutls installed at this moment?
Comment by Samed Beyribey (ras0ir) - Thursday, 02 July 2009, 10:16 GMT
warning: gtk2: local (2.16.3-1) is newer than extra (2.16.2-1)
warning: libcups: local (1.3.10-3) is newer than extra (1.3.10-2)
warning: libjpeg: local (7-1) is newer than extra (6b-6)
warning: libtiff: local (3.8.2-5) is newer than extra (3.8.2-4)
warning: xulrunner: local (1.9.1-2) is newer than extra (1.9.1-1)

Well these are from testing repository.
So i think my bug report is invalid. Sorry for taking your time.

This is a bug in the testing package. Cups in extra has been compiled against gnutls, libcups in testing has been compiled against openssl. I don't know why openssl is used instead of gnutls, but this sure breaks the cupsd binary.

This patch should be applied to cups and libcups to make it build with gnutls 2.8:

I rebuilt the cups in [testing] (1.3.10-4) to fix this issue after building libcups for the jpeg rebuilds. It seems there is mixing of [extra] and [testing] packages going on...

should be fixed in 1.3.11 in testing. give it a try.
