DetailsFirefox 0.9.3 and Evolution 2.0 are unavailable in the Gnome 2.8 preferred applications list. You have to enter them manually (followed by %s) to make them work.

The other problem with this is the firefox binary name: we have a script called "mozilla-firefox", which should be "firefox" instead. I have the binary called that way on my system, but the preferences panel doesn't pick it up (it does with mozilla though)
I think this bugreport should go upstream, since it's an upstream problem with control-center.
