I've tried to enter this command into bash and I get this message:

which: no java in (/bin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/usr/sbin:/opt/kde/bin:/usr/bin/perlbin/site:/usr/bin/perlbin/vendor:/usr/bin/perlbin/core:/opt/qt/bin)
/usr/bin/limewire: line 8: -Dorg.apache.commons.logging.Log=org.apache.commons.logging.impl.NoOpLog: command not found

I use jre for java.

after installing jre, do relogin in your account?

or in command line: do:
source /etc/profile.d/jre.sh
limewire
