I'm trying to submit a new package to AUR, and I get an error saying “Missing build function in PKGBUILD.”

The build() function, however, is present (the PKGBUILD is based on the prototype that comes with Pacman).

I attach both the PKGBUILD, and the archive I'm trying to submit.

Ah I see it's a problem in parsing your optdepends string.
The opening parenthesis without a matching closing parenthesis confuses the parser.
