Detailskernel 2.6.30 introduced an ACPI regression that affects Sony Vaio FW laptops, one of the things it causes is missing /proc/video/ entries (screen brightness control etc).

i'm using a custom dsdt..
why was it removed? this is really going to make my life a lot harder.. :-/
thanks, i'll better keep a lookout for a patch showing up somewhere..
