Description:

The boost in testing prevents the system upgrade:
$ sudo pacman -Syu
:: Starting full system upgrade...
resolving dependencies...
looking for inter-conflicts...
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: smc: requires boost=1.37.0

So we need to add a smc in testing with a boost>=1.39.0 depends. I tried doing that but when I tested it, my keyboard and touchpad stopped responding after the game has started. I was able to kill it as I was also logged in remotely and my keyboard/touchpad were working fine after smc was killed. I get the same behaviour with the smc/boost from extra. I don't know if it's a problem with smc or my setup. I'm attaching the updated and cleaned up PKGBUILD.

I have the same problem, but i see that smc 1.8-2 in testing, seems to solve the problema. PKGBUILD was corrected by adding boost>=1.37.0 , so it only needs to move smc from testing to extra
