DetailsSome USB devices are not detected on Arch Linux 0.7 but work with mandrake 10 (Scanner, Hdd, Digital camera )...
I load the correct modules (I think) but it does not work anymore... When I restart my system, I can see my Scanner but Doesn't work (detected with sane but don't want to scan anything). USBview can see only my USB mouse... I think the bug is in libusb but I'm not sure... (motherboard : ASUS P4P800-SE). Is there a known bug ??? |
This task depends upon
my Hdd and digital camera work correctly but not my scanner...
I must reboot to see my hdd and my camera... Maybe a Hotplug and a sane problem...
I've compiled the 2.6.9 kernel and now my USB devices are detected correctly without system reboot. But my scanner detection is too long and when xsane detect it, he does'nt scan anything. the error message is : CAN'T INNITIALIZE SCANNER : DEVICE BUSY.
I've tested it on a suse linux 9.1 and my scanner works perfectly.
Regards.
