DetailsAfter some hard shut down of my computer and upgrade to kernel 2.6.30 my Gstreamer0.10 stopped working. Reinstall did not help, the same with kernel. 2.6.29 version works ok. Here is the topic about bugs: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=74127

It appears you're using dmix for sound mixing. I don't know how dmix actually works, but one thing that has changed is disabling the pcspeaker sound module. If you had configured alsa to output to the 2nd soundcard because the pcspeaker would be first, then you won't have sound anymore with 2.6.30 because the pcspeaker module has been removed and soundcards have shifted index again.
