Some pacman options don't have abbreviated form, like in case of '--needed'! I mean under abbreviated form, like -N for --needed, -S for --sync, -Q for --query e.g. Sincerelly, Laszlo Papp |

-1 from me. We have a finite number of single letters, and for lesser used options like this one there really isn't a need for a short option. Besides, we can't use any uppercase letters (-N) for non-operation options.

Agreed. -1. Won't fix. It is not a commonly used operation so does not need a short version.
