Description:
Pacman should check that it has enough free space before upgrading

I recently upgraded my EEE PC which has limited hard disk space (4gb) and pacman ran out of room while upgrading. It had enough room to download the packages and then started the update but as it was extracting the packages it ran out of room leaving some packages half extracted and my system unstable. I managed to clear out some room and fix it by force reinstalling every package I had installed. Not sure if this was the best fix but it worked plus I couldn't work out what had installed properly and what had not. Anyway this could have been avoided if pacman checked the available free space first and warned me before I continued with the upgrade. Yes I know I should have done this myself but I forgot.

Additional info:
* package version(s)
* config and/or log files etc.

Steps to reproduce:

Run pacman -Syu when available storage is less than space required
