gvim links to libglitz but does not depend on the glitz package. Executing gvim or vim-big fails when glitz is missing. Additional info: gvim 7.2.166-1 from testing I think this is true for gvim in extra as well. Steps to reproduce: $ ldd usr/bin/vim-big [...] libglitz.so.1 => not found [...] Remove glitz and try to start vim-big/gvim : $ gvim gvim: error while loading shared libraries: libglitz.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory |
