Details

Nautilus (and kde?) can make use of fam (file alteration monitor?) to immediately display changes in file views. Would be nice to have.

fam currently doesn't compile with gcc 3.2 - need to find a patch.

fam is currently in unofficial. We'll need to move it to ABS if anything within abs needs to depend on it.
