DetailsNautilus (and kde?) can make use of fam (file alteration monitor?) to immediately display changes in file views. Would be nice to have.

fam currently doesn't compile with gcc 3.2 - need to find a patch.

fam is currently in unofficial. We'll need to move it to ABS if anything within abs needs to depend on it.
