Additional info: gdal-1.6.1-3 There are some unused old files in the cvs repo. Solution: Add this before make: sed -i 's|EXE_DEP_LIBS|KILL_EXE_DEP_LIBS|' apps/GNUmakefile |

There is no gdal -4 pkg for x86_64 that fixes this issue. (i686 pkg is fixed)
