If you have LC_MESSAGES set to xxx, nvi reports "./xxx: No such file or directory" on startup. No other LC_* environment variable seem to make problems. Solution: add "unsetenv("LC_MESSAGES");" to db47-hack.patch. |

Why would one set LC_MESSAGES to xxx in the first place?

xxx is meant as an arbitrary language. I have LANG=sl_SI.UTF-8 and LC_MESSAGES=C.

I added a patch from ubuntu in testing. I hope that helps with that issue.
