Description:

Last version of the vlc package (vlc 0.9.9a-3) has --enable-live555 compilation parameter removed.
This is due to commit between revision 39631 and revision 39778 of the PKGBUILD where ${EXTRAFEATURES} was removed by mistake.

Additional info:

Steps to reproduce:
Try to open this URL : rtsp://mafreebox.freebox.fr/fbxtv_pub/stream?namespace=1&service=201&flavour=sd if you are using Free french FAI.

Yes I see the EXTRAFEATURES parameter. But if you look closely in the PKGBUILD you will see that EXTRAFEATURES was removed from the configure parameter (at the end) :

> --program-suffix= \ > --program-suffix= || return 1

< --with-dv-raw1394=/usr/include/libraw1394 ${EXTRAFEATURES} || return 1

Even if --enable-live555 should be enabled by default, it's not enabled on the current package.

The current package doesn't work anymore with Free french FAI multiposte, the previous one worked (and the one I build in my abs with EXTRAFEATURES reenabled again, work).

BTW the VLC PKGBUILD has libnotify listed as depends AND optdepends. The later seems to be uneeded.
