Description:
openjdk6 can not display chinese characters correctly. Please add directory /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.6.0-openjdk/lib/fonts/fallback and add uming.ttf into int.

Additional info:

* config and/or log files etc.

please test openjdk6 1.5-1 from testing repo. it should detect the most common fonts.

check, if your font is missing or has a bad path in /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.6.0-openjdk/jre/lib/fontconfig.properties.src

I cannot confirm this without your help. Ask to reopen the issue and provide more information (needed font, test url...).
