Description:
When an update of the roundcube package is updated to a new version, it replaces the .htaccess file in /srv/http/roundcube

The default contents of this file is 'deny from all' so after and upgrade, the roundcube interface isn't accessible until this file is changed / removed.

There is no warning about the file so you don't think to check it until people start complaining. I can't think of an easy solution to this since I know why it's there, but at the least there should be a warning in pacman's output to check it or something.

Additional info:
* package version(s) 0.2.1-1 -> 0.2.2-1

Steps to reproduce:
1. Install roundcubemail 0.2.1-1
2. Delete /srv/http/roundcube/.htaccess
3. Upgrade to roundcubemail 0.2.2-1
4. The .htaccess file has been reinstalled

I presume this will affect all upgrades going forward, not just 0.2.1 to 0.2.2

Reason for closing:  Not a bug
Additional comments about closing:  I think removing files that was installed by pacman is not good idea anyway...

it is very strange. backup line presents in PKGBUILD since first revision

cvs annotate
...
1.1 (sergej 10-Oct-08): backup=(srv/http/roundcube/.htaccess)
...

Perhaps that is the problem -- I just deleted the file instead of changing it to "allow from all"

Maybe a post-installation note could be added to advise users to not delete it to gain access?
