DetailsDescription:
When an update of the roundcube package is updated to a new version, it replaces the .htaccess file in /srv/http/roundcube The default contents of this file is 'deny from all' so after and upgrade, the roundcube interface isn't accessible until this file is changed / removed. There is no warning about the file so you don't think to check it until people start complaining. I can't think of an easy solution to this since I know why it's there, but at the least there should be a warning in pacman's output to check it or something. Additional info: * package version(s) 0.2.1-1 -> 0.2.2-1 Steps to reproduce: 1. Install roundcubemail 0.2.1-1 2. Delete /srv/http/roundcube/.htaccess 3. Upgrade to roundcubemail 0.2.2-1 4. The .htaccess file has been reinstalled I presume this will affect all upgrades going forward, not just 0.2.1 to 0.2.2 |

Reason for closing: Not a bug
Additional comments about closing: I think removing files that was installed by pacman is not good idea anyway...

Maybe a post-installation note could be added to advise users to not delete it to gain access?
