The mplayer-29188-2 package is missing the mplayer.desktop file. As a result, a fresh install of the package has no corresponding KDE4 start menu or context menu entries. This hit me when I uninstalled the package and reinstalled it. |

Although i am almost certain that theres gonna be bug reports afterwords about a non working desktop file, ask xterm to be included as a dependency, or use any of the thousands other terminal emulators instead of xterm.
the .desktop file hasn't been added to extra/mplayer yet
imo, Jan de Groot is correct.
If we are not going to add the .desktop file, can we close this?
