Today there was a recent update of mplayer: local/mplayer 29188-2 A movie player for linux local/mplayer-plugin 3.55-1 mplayerplug-in is a browser plugin that uses mplayer to play videos from websites. local/mplayer-skins 0.3-1 Additional Skins for the MPlayer And it looks like I lost gmplayer: % which gmplayer gmplayer: Command not found. Notice that I also tried mplayer -gui: % mplayer -gui The -gui option will only work as the first command line argument. MPlayer UNKNOWN-4.4.0 (C) 2000-2009 MPlayer Team MPlayer was compiled WITHOUT GUI support. 137 audio & 296 video codecs And it indicates that mplayer was compiled without gui support. I suppose it might have been a compilation miss...
