Details

As of 0.14, ncmpc now has support for lyrics retrieval, but it's not built by default. I'd like to have that enabled. There are some related configure switches (--enable-lyrics-screen and --with-lyrics-plugin-dir) but I don't know if something else is required. I tried it out but couldn't get it to actually fetch any lyrics.

I tried enabling lyrics, with the ncmpc PKGBUILD but could not get it working. The lyrics support in the ncmpc-svn package from AUR works, but it takes much time downloading lyrics. Ncmpcpp downloads lyrics faster.
