Description: Info on how to set the correct keymap in mkinitcpio.conf is needed in the beginner's guide and official install guide because otherwise if fsck fails during boot arch asks for root's password for system maintenance, but as the keymap has not been set correctly users of non-US keyboards are unable to log in and fix the system.

It's a wiki, AFAIK you can add information to it if you want. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

The Official_Arch_Linux_Install_Guide is protected so regular users can't edit it. However, the beginner's guide can be edited by anyone.

Make a suggestion for changes and I'll add it then.

I suggest adding a link from the official guide to http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Mkinitcpio.
In the configuration files part like in /etc/fstab, same for /etc/mkinitcpio

I fixed the beginner's guide, and I suggest fixing the typo in the Official install guide: "If you're using a non-US keyboard uou should also add the 'keymap' hook"

I think "uou" should be "you"

Heh i make those kind of mistakes very often when i am typing and furthermore when i have the cursorline enabled in vim.
But the sentence that contains the typo, proves that the guide already contains the info you opened the bug report about, requesting to be added.

Yes, it did, but I didn't see it.

So all that is left to do is fix that typo and this bug is fixed.
