Description:

If latest amarok 2.0.2-x is installed, audio files with *.m4a no longer play... files are skipped to end of playlist. Compiled amarok2 from AUR and issue still exists. Compiled amarok 1.4.10-svn. Issue still exists but message flags that there is no available decoder. Doing the following 'fixes' the issue for both version 2.x and 1.4.10

This might cause breaks later down the road but resolves the issue for now:

sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libfaad.so.2.0.0 /usr/lib/libfaad.so.1
sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libfaad.so.2.0.0 /usr/lib/libfaad.so.1.0.0

Amarok package needs to work with libfaad.so.2 (or faad2 should create these links?)

Additional info:

* package version(s)

amarok - all versions
faad2-2.2.7-1

* config and/or log files etc.

Launching amarok from console puts icon in tray and returns to prompt without further errors. 1.4.10 gives pop up error of no available decoder. Linking files allows files to play so it is obvious that it seeks libfaad.so.1 and/or libfaad.so.1.0.0

Steps to reproduce:

Have amarok installed.
Do upgrade pacman -Syu, assuming faad updates to latest version,
play an *.m4a file

No dide for me actually: it just skips files still. I even compiled the AUR version of Amarok2 and it still does not work if my hand created symlinks are not in place. Compiled the package with the symlinks removed.
