Description:

I tried to update my sytem and received following error:

$ pacman -Syu
...
error: could not prepare transaction
error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files)
kdemod-kde-l10n-de: /usr/share/locale/de/LC_MESSAGES/amarok.mo exists in filesystem
Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.

$ pacman -Qo /usr/share/locale/de/LC_MESSAGES/amarok.mo
/usr/share/locale/de/LC_MESSAGES/amarok.mo is owned by amarok 2.0.2-3

/usr/share/locale/de/LC_MESSAGES/amarok.mo should belong to the l10n package and not to amarok.

pacman -Syu fails

Additional comments about closing:  kdemod is an unofficial project. The official kde-l10n-* packages don't include amarok.mo files.
