DetailsDescription: When fsck fails during boot arch asks for root's password for system maintenance, but as the keymap has not been set yet users of non-US keyboards are unable to log in and fix the system.
Steps to reproduce: Install arch using a jfs filesystem with an external journal (external journal should be on a different device for performance but for reproducing this bug you could put it on another partition on the same disk), then delete the journal partition. |

add keymap to /etc/mkinitcpio.conf HOOKS=, run mkinitcpio -p kernel26 and you are fine.
