DetailsDescription:
Sorry for the error in the previous submission. I misstated the problem, as it had been a couple of days since I ran into it. The bluez-simple-agent passkey agent in Bluez 4.0 requires the dbus-python package in extras to run. Without it, it gives a "failed to import dbus module" error on startup. This should probably be noted as an optdepend. Steps to reproduce: - Install bluez - Ensure that the dbus-python package is not installed (it is not installed with the python2.6 package by default, but is required by a few distinct packages that aren't related to bluez) - Attempt to run bluez-simple-agent |
