DetailsI have an up to date Archlinux i686 system with the official JRE installed. I wanted to install eclipse but pacman told me that that jre was in conflict with openjdk6. I had to remove jre in order to install eclipse.
Am I the only one affected ? |

You need to have jre+jdk installed. pacman finds openjdk6 first in its attempts to satisfy the dependencies of eclipse and then finds the conflict with jre.
