2.0.1 is not the most recent version of qca; 2.0.2 is. There is also a new qca-ossl package which has whirlpool disabled. Just update your abs tree.

Yes I know it's not the latest version, but I had some problems trying to connect with KMess with v2.0.2, so I tried to compile myself the older version, which worked.
The main reason for doing that is that
the output of:
$ qcatool2 plugins
is:
Qt Library Paths:
/usr/lib/qt/plugins
/usr/bin
/usr/lib/kde4/plugins
Available Providers:
(none)

And I have qca-ossl installed, but it doesn't detect it, so I can't connect with KMess :(

Sorry for the inconvenience, and thanks for the reply ;)

Thanks!! I upgraded the abs tree, and installed qca and qca-oss without the whirlpol, as you said! Now it works perfectly!

Sorry :$
