This is a kernel bug. As 2.6.30 will be out soon, and the 2.6.29 kernel has loads of other bugs related to intel drm and KMS, I don't have any intention to fix this in 2.6.29.

seems to work now.
but now echo mem > /sys/power/state don't work anymore - but that's another issue ^^
