Details
Description:
The latest KDE 4.2 kdeadmin and/or kdeutils (not sure which package but its supposed to be in either) is missing system-config-printer-kde (printer applet for KDE 4.2). The applet was in Archlinux in previous KDE 4.2 revisions (KDE <4.2.2-1) however the latest version of the package does not contain the program, so the latest KDE 4.2 update has removed KDE 4.2's normal printer support (although CUPS is still available in the browser) The package manager for KDE 4.2 must have done something to the latest package, since numerous Archlinux users in the #KDE channel on freenode are reporting the same problem Additional info: * package version(s) kdeadmin 4.2.2-1 kdeutils 4.2.2-1 * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: pacman -S kdeadmin kdeutils |
