Description: Firefox Firefox/3.0.10

by access about:config, It is possible to set the default value of general.useragent.extra.firefox to Firefox/3.0.10
The major trouble is that if you not change this value and leave it to GranParadiso/3.0.10 some web 2.0 like (www.hotmail.com) will be broken
with the hotmail case, other can't see messages you sending resulting in a empty e-mail from you

hotmail, and other secure web page check if you brower is valide and it look M$ dont like GranParadiso

P.P you can change this setting by go to about:config in url bar
This a easy and quick fix
This task depends upon

I have no problems with hotmail... Anyway, websites should be looking at the rendering engine not the browser name, so I don't think this is our problem.

I just saw your post on the forums describing the problem with hotmail and I can replicate. (I never actually send an email through the hotmail interface so had not noticed).

Websites should check for gecko, not for Firefox. This affects any browser that isn't firefox, but uses the xulrunner engine, and isn't something we can or will fix.

@zap, I don't have this problem, but if you have these problems use the "User Agent Switcher": http://chrispederick.com/work/user-agent-switcher/

Similar reports were made in past, and AFAIR all were rejected. So I'm going to close it as "Won't fix"/"Duplicate".
