Chromium needs a CHROMIUM_DATA variable to be set to launch properly.

Reason for closing:  Not a bug
Additional comments about closing:  when you first install chromium, you need to source /etc/profile.d/chromium.sh or to relogin.

To properly launch:
$ CHROMIUM_DATA=/usr/share/chromium/data/ chromium
