Name = gdm Version = 2.20.10 Description: GDM default xnest configuration setting is incorrect resulting in failure to start gdm in nested X sessions. Steps to reproduce: This error can be reproduced by running the command 'gdmflexiserver --xnest' in an X terminal - or - While logged into the GNOME Desktop Environment, using the menu item located in Applications->System Tools->New Login in a Window Patch: The xnest setting in defaults.conf is lacking the correct setting. The attached patch will correct the issue which will allow nested gdm X sessions. Build Script: An updated PKGBUILD script that applies the patch prior to building is also attached. |
